Expanding Garden Plane to the Caribbean: Pilot Program in Bahamas & Jamaica.
Garden Plane is proud to announce our expansion into the Caribbean, beginning with a transformative pilot program in the Bahamas & Jamaica. Our goal is to connect Caribbean farmers with markets across the United States, England, and Europe, creating sustainable pathways for locally grown Caribbean produce to reach global consumers. This program will support farmers, empower communities, and bring the taste of the Caribbean to the world.
Empowering Caribbean Farmers
Our program links farmers of all sizes, from medium-scale farmers with 500–1,000 acres to micro and urban backyard growers with 0.3–2 acres and under. Each farmer has the opportunity to be part of a unique initiative designed to showcase the best of Jamaican and Bahamian agriculture. This program includes a specialized plan focused on key crops, including:

Through our partnership with the Jamaican government and Bahamian Agriculture dept , we’re committed to creating reliable, high-quality supply chains that benefit farmers and consumers alike.

Sustainable Standards and Transparency
To ensure the highest standards, every Garden Plane farmer will be required to register with Jamaica’s Ministry of Agriculture, gain certification in organic practices, and meet The Global Non-GMO Project standards. We’re also integrating RFID and blockchain technology for transparent, secure tracking of each fruit and vegetable, from farm to market, ensuring consumers can trace each item back to its source.
Market Partnerships
In collaboration with the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce Atlanta Chapter and the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, we’re building a strong market infrastructure to distribute Jamaican produce to farmers’ markets and retailers in America, Canada, England, and Europe. By establishing a streamlined supply chain, Garden Plane ensures fresh, authentic Caribbean produce reaches consumers eager to experience the flavors of Jamaica.
